“Distinguished Design Award”

On Friday February 9th, Walter Klemp President and Chief Operating Officer of Tyrell along with Joseph Tanner Vice President of Operations of Tyrell presented SRI Product Development a “Distinguished Design Award” for SRI’s contribution to the development of the Zeno Acne Treatment device. Klemp stated “We could not have done the project without SRI”. Tanner added “SRI has provided an excellent design for our product…we will return to SRI for future projects”. MILPITAS, Calif.--February 7, 2007--Solectron Corporation today announced the formation of the Solectron Medical Alliance Program (S-MAP). Anchored by Solectron, S-MAP initially includes ATEK Medical, Circle Medical, Proven Process Medical Devices, Inc., and SRI Product Development. The alliance creates a comprehensive medical device outsourcing ecosystem encompassing product design and engineering, manufacturing, assembly and aftermarket services and support.

"Medical device firms are facing mounting pressure to generate more revenue with more products at lower costs while meeting high quality requirements. The Solectron Medical Alliance Program is a powerful new approach to solving many of these business challenges," said Dave Busch, vice president, medical segment, Solectron.
